Josh Wimberley
Co Founder & CEO
Josh serves as CEO of Lead5. In Josh's previous role as Head of the Financial Officer Practice in North America for Korn/Ferry International (NYSE: KFY), he focused on recruiting CFOs across multiple industry sectors. Josh's 20 years in traditional executive search makes him uniquely equipped to understand and address the pain points associated with the executive job search process.
Josh had a distinguished career with Korn/Ferry as he was the youngest partner in the firm at the time of his promotion and one of the youngest practice leaders in the firm's history. In addition, he has been quoted on various leadership and succession topics in the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg News, and CFO Magazine.
Josh left Korn/Ferry in 2013 with a vision of creating an online exchange, empowering candidates with intel and transparency on the executive search process.
Josh received his bachelor's degree in management, magna cum laude, from Baylor University.
Mike Russ
Co Founder & COO
Mike is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Lead5. His responsibilities as COO include operations, search, business development, and partnership marketing.
Mike comes to Lead5 from Ivie & Associates, a marketing communications firm where he served as Senior Vice President of Operations, leading two business units for the company. During his tenure, he successfully developed and implemented operational solutions both domestically and internationally.
Mike holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. Mike is motivated by a philosophy that focuses on growing profit through improved business processes, stronger analytics, and team development.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communications from Texas A&M University and an MBA in Finance and Operations from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
